Rihanna confirmed that her Savage x Fenty lingerie line will be size inclusive, and just take our money
In early March, rumors swirled that Rihanna was in talks to launch her own lingerie line. So when RiRi confirmed the Savage x Fenty news herself, she basically broke the internet.
Rihanna shared the exciting news on social media on Friday, April 20th. “we bout to light this up sis!!” Rihanna wrote. “introducing @SAVAGEXFENTY lingerie coming soon.” While the initial teaser images did not reveal any details of the pieces or a release date for the line itself, a few days later, she confirmed that the collection would launch on May 11th.
However, that’s not the only thing to be excited about. Since the launch of Fenty Beauty, Rihanna has been open about the fact that she’s very passionate about making all of her products inclusive of everyone, and her lingerie line is no different. We scoped out the Savage x Fenty website before the teasers were released and learned that underwear will be available up to size 3X and bras will go up to 44DDD. Now, both Rihanna and the official Savage x Fenty Instagram accounts have confirmed that the lingerie line will, in fact, be size inclusive.
As Rihanna said herself, “savages come in all shapes and sizes.”
From the looks of it, it seems as though the line will also include bridal lingerie pieces perfect for brides-to-be and their honeymoons.
