Rihanna’s lingerie line will close out NYFW next month, and what can’t this woman do?

Rihanna will show her Savage x Fenty lingerie line during New York Fashion Week next month, and because she is a true icon, she will not only show her fall 2018 collection, she will close out all of NYFW. According to a statement from the brand, obtained by Page Six, Marc Jacobs traditionally closes out New York Fashion Week, but Rihanna—a literal kween—has swooped in and stolen the legendary spot.

The runway show will reportedly be an “immersive experience” with the product onsite and available for purchase. If you don’t snag a coveted invite to the show, don’t worry—the new fall collection will also be available online immediately at Savagex.com, and later at pop-up locations in New York City and at the Mall of America.

After disrupting the beauty industry with her inclusive Fenty makeup collection, the multi-hyphenate launched Savage x Fenty in May 2018. The collection quickly sold out, so we’re expecting similar site-crashing fanfare when her fall collection hits next month.

Savage x Fenty has been praised for using a diverse group of models. However, some are underwhelmed by the size options, which start at an A cup and stop at DD.

I’m sorry, but Savage X Fenty didn’t dazzle me one bit.
The line claimed to be size inclusive, but cup sizes didn’t go past DD, and the plus lingerie options were limited & minimal.

Since her lingerie line has only existed for a few months, here’s to hoping that the fall launch offers something for individuals with AA (or AAA) cups and those seeking more curve and plus-size options.
