Rihanna gave Zendaya some shoes a year ago, and she finally wore them for this reason
If Rihanna gave us a pair of shoes, we’d probably have them on before we even left the room. But last year, Zendaya received a pair of heels from Rihanna’s denim Manolo Blahnik collection, and she only just wore them now. Why, you ask? Well, there’s actually a pretty good reason.
First, let’s go back to the beginning. Last June, Zendaya tweeted that she had received a pair of denim Manolos from RiRi’s collection. Rihanna and Zendaya, by the way, seem to have a mutually supportive friendship, with Rihanna even posting Z’s Met Gala look and calling her a “brown goddess” (something that naturally caused the young actress to totally freak out).
Being the fairy shoemother she is, Rihanna sent Zendaya some of her exclusive denim heels, which resulted in a similar freak-out.
“The amount of slayage/looks that is about to come out of these? Thank you fashion mother @badgalriri,” Z wrote on Instagram.
Well, it seems that Zendaya has finally found the right time to SLAY in RiRi’s shoes.
As MTV News report, and as promised, Zendaya attended a Spider-Man: Homecoming photo call yesterday (June 14th) where she not only rocked the heck out of a blue Jonathan Simkhai gown, but also wore the iridescent blue heels RiRi gifted her.

The shoes are strappy mule stilettos, and, we have to be honest, Zendaya is crushing this look.
Indeed, one person on social media also noticed the heels had made their debut outing.

We’re glad that Zendaya managed to find the appropriate time to slay in those gorgeous shoes that Rihanna gave her. We totally get wanting to save them for a special occasion, and tbh the whole outfit is so eye-catching that it was worth it.
