Awww, it looks like Rihanna and Drake have split
Rihanna and Drake have been on again off again since they were first seen gettin’ cozy in a bowling alley back in 2009, and it’s safe to say despite the apparent up and downs, pretty much everybody on the internet is here for this music power couple. Unfortunately, after what seemed like some seriously significant signs that the couple was getting close to making it official, it seems like they’ve ended things, at least for the time being. And despite what some sources say, it doesn’t seem like it’s necessarily the most amicable split.
After Drake was spotted with India Love at a Toronto Blue Jays game and rumors started to spread, Rihanna shared the following instagram… seemingly a clapback at her possible ex.
Although a source told Entertainment Weekly that “anything can change between” Rihanna and Drake, and that they’re “still in each other’s lives,” the source also confided that they’re definitely in an off-again stage, even if that is the case.
"Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment. They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way."
Still, the fact that they’re not “exclusive” gives us hope that maybe they’re not QUITE broken up, just taking some time. They both clearly have very busy lives and schedules, and it must be hard to keep up with a burgeoning relationship. At the same time, Drake taking up with India Love seems to signal the end.
But it seems like we won’t know until we, y’know, know. Although we’re sure India Love is great, we’re definitely holding out hope for Drake and Rihanna until we officially hear that it’s over.
