This tiny dog just recreated Rihanna’s epic Met Gala look

Earlier this week, Rihanna stunned at the Met Gala in a gorgeous yellow gown by Chinese designer Guo Pei — an homage to the yellow imperial robes reserved for royalty during various dynasties of the Chinese empire. It was definitely a showstopper, and the dress had a train so long that three people had to follow her down the red carpet just to help her adjust it for photos. It was a perfect choice for the night’s theme, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” and while the Internet quickly turned the ensemble into scrambled eggs and pizza crust (as the Internet is wont to do), the look remained the most notable of the evening.

And now, a tiny pomeranian named Marni has recreated it. But first, the original:

And now, the pizza version:

Ok, back to the pomeranian. In a video posted to her owners’ Instagram account, the fashionable pup dons what looks like a large, fluffy, yellow blanket with the regal grace of RiRi herself. She’s even standing on a miniature red carpet! (The proportions also feel about the same as the Guo Pei dress — the blanket is about five times the size of the carpet in question.) The video is all kinds of adorable, and the whole thing is set to RiRi’s new song, “B*tch Better Have My Money” — which, of course, has a whole new meaning when we’re talking about dogs.

It was an instant hit. Marni’s owners, twins Cailli and Sam Beckerman, only posted the video a couple of days ago, and it’s already garnered 11k likes. And then, it received the ultimate stamp of approval: @badgirlriri herself reposted it to her personal account.

“Your dog is next level bruh,” her caption reads — and we totally agree. (On Rihanna’s account, the video has over 575k likes and 38k comments to date.) Check out Marni in all her fabulousness for yourself below.
