Rihanna dabbed in front of Trump Tower at the Women’s March, and we are not worthy
On Saturday, January 21st, countless everyday human beings, activists, and celebrities showed up to make rousing speeches and get their voices heard all over the planet.
And we honor these women, like Janet Mock and Angela Davis and Gloria Steinem, but we also honor Rihanna, who quietly attended Women’s March NYC and dabbed at Trump Tower with a bunch of strangers.
Because basically, Rihanna is the hero we need and deserve during this uncertain time for women, people of color, the LGBTQ community and so, so many more.
Twitter user Lauren MacWhinney was minding her own business, lending her support to valuable causes and documenting the historic day when, out of nowhere, RiRi herself popped up in the background for a good old fashioned protest dab near Trump’s infamous looming Tower.

Rihanna rocked a pink cap, a “This P***y Grabs Back” hoodie, a tutu, and matching pink heels for the protest, and eventually posed next to a pile of signs left at the Tower.
Other protesters in the vicinity claimed that Rihanna had a blast adding her voice to the crowd and standing up for what she believes in.
“She danced along to the crowd’s chants and chanted along to ‘My body, my choice’ and ‘Black Lives Matter,’” Cinderly cofounder Laura von Holt told Mashable. “She was laughing and chatting with the other protesters, commenting on signs and T-shirt slogans. She seemed very happy to be a part of it.”
Rih was clearly still in the protest mood Sunday morning, rocking a “We Should All Be Feminists” t-shirt and deep purple lipstick.
And this is why we love her.
