Ricky Martin revealed his upcoming wedding will be a “three-day event”
In an effort to prove that he’s still livin’ la vida loca, Ricky Martin is making his wedding a three-day event. Because, again, this is Ricky Martin we’re talking about. Go big or go home.
Martin is currently engaged to fiancé Jwan Yosef, whom he met on Instagram. Martin admitted that it was pretty much love at first sight, recently telling Ocean Drive magazine that they share something incredibly special.
"From the moment we shook hands for the first time, I knew this was special," he stated. "He felt the same thing, and then everything was so organic. You cannot force things, and when things are very evident you just have to go with the flow and enjoy and help the inevitable in this case."

So you can imagine that their wedding is going to be pretty great. While the wedding is already being planned, Martin has one big thing to figure out — where it’s going to be held.
"Planning a wedding is super overwhelming," he continued. "We want to do it right, hopefully next spring. We’ll do the three-day event as I call it. And we still don’t know where we will do it, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico or in Sweden, where my fiancé is from, or in Spain, where I am also from."
Perhaps they can spend three days celebrating their love in each of these locations. That would definitely be a memorable occasion. It may have to happen that way, since as Martin noted to the magazine, a lot of Yosef’s family members live in Syria — and Martin doesn’t know if they’ll be able to make it to the United States. And what’s a wedding without family?

One thing’s for sure — Martin isn’t going to make his wedding private.
"People will be talking about it," he said. "We’re a modern family, and I think people need to see, and I want to normalize the beauty of our family. That’s why I’m making it public and I am going to share my wedding with the world."
Quite honestly, we can’t wait to see it.
