This tight t-shirt wearing ’90s pop star just joined “American Crime Story”

It’s time to start “Livin’ La Vida Loca” because Ricky Martin is about to hit our TV screens, once more. The iconic singer and former General Hospital star is making a dramatic return to television for season three of Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story.

Versace: American Crime Story will center on the 1997 murder of famed fashion designer Gianni Versace at the hands of serial killer Andrew Cunanan. Martin has been tapped to play Versace’s longtime partner Antonio D’Amico. This role marks the second time Martin and Murphy have teamed up, as Martin briefly appeared on Glee back in 2012.

In addition to Martin, Édgar Ramirez from Joy is set to appear as Versace, while Penélope Cruz  will play Versace’s sister Donatella, and another Murphy alum, Darren Criss is set to play Cunanan. This cast has us so excited, although we’re still waiting to hear who Sarah Paulson will play (she has to be in this, right?).

We’re so excited to see what Murphy does with this. The ten episode series will be based on the book Vulgar Favors by longtime Vanity Fair writer Maureen Orth. The series is set to begin shooting next month and before airing sometime in 2018.

Season two of American Crime Story, which is centered on Hurricane Katrina, and has Cuba Gooding jr. and Sarah Paulson returning as stars alongside Annette Bening and Matthew Broderick, will hopefully be released later this year!

Ryan Murphy has truly proven himself to be one of the most interesting storytellers! We can’t wait to see how the next few seasons of American Crime Story play out.
