Wendy Raquel Robinson stole the show as Principal Regina Grier in The Steve Harvey Show and as Tasha Mack on The Game, and now the legendary actress is wowing us with her performing arts non-profit, The Amazing Grace Conservatory.

Founded in 1996, AGC has provided affordable performing arts training in acting, singing and dance to the Los Angeles youth, ranging from the ages of 5 to 18. Robinson serves as the school’s Executive Director, and provides a safe haven for its students to be themselves, as well as equipping them with the confidence needed to pursue their dreams.

With the mentorship from top industry professionals, AGC alum have been accepted to some of the leading higher-learning institutions in the US. In fact, many of the students have gone on to attend Julliard, NYU-Tisch School of the Arts, Howard University and Carnegie Melon. Issa Rae of The MisAdventures of Awkward Black Girl, and now her own show, Insecure, airing on HBO this fall; Aldis Hodge from WGN’s Underground and Straight Outta Compton; and singer Elle Varner are just a few of AGC’s prominent alum.
