This weatherman delivered a fabulous weather report filled with "RuPaul's Drag Race" references
If you’re anything like us, then you’re also obsessed with RuPaul and his reality competition to find America’s Next Drag Superstar. However, we might not be as obsessed with RuPaul’s Drag Race as this weatherman, who delivered a sickening weather report filled with hilarious Drag Race references.
Slaying his weather forecast harder than Alyssa Edwards in a lip sync, Welsh BBC weatherman Owain Wyn Evans decided to fill his whole weather forecast with as many references to the hit show, which was recently nominated for eight Emmy awards, as possible.
Opening the video, Evans says, “The time has come for me to forecast for my life,” riffing on RuPaul’s now iconic catchphrase before lip syncs on the show.
The weatherman, who describes himself on his Twitter bio as “unapologetically flamboyant,” continues, referring to his weather report as “spilling the tea,” and stating that clouds would be “throwing shade.”
There are also references to famous drag queens Courtney Act, Delta Work, Detox, Raja, and Alaska, and weather fronts are sashaying away. Evans even gets in a death drop…
Watch the hilarious weather report below.
Following Evans’ report, many of former Drag Race contestants expressed their joy at the video.
In fact, Drag Race matriarch herself, RuPaul, tweeted out the video.
In fact, a look at Evans’ Twitter account shows that he is one sassy weatherman.
It seems, however, that he was pretty moved by everyone’s nice comments about his drag-themed weather report.
“[Reading] all your lush comments on my drag day video is making me want to bathe nonchalantly in champagne ,” he wrote. “THANK YOU *thworp*”
Tbh, we’re actually pretty disappointed that not all weather reports are delivered like this. It would add a much needed touch of glamor and fabulousness to the forecast, and we know that we’d get our lives every time we heard about sashaying wind fronts.
