Kesha is back and better than ever. After fighting a very public and painful legal battle with her record label, Sony, and producer Dr. Luke, she’s finally back to doing what she loves: making music. Last month, Kesha released a song with the producer Zedd, a remix of his song “True Colors.” And this Sunday, she’s going to be performing at the Billboard Music Awards!

This is going to be Kesha’s first televised performance since her legal battle went down. The road has certainly been a rocky one. First, Dr. Luke tried to stop her performance, and his record label uninvited her to the show. But Kesha won in the end and will be performing a tribute to Bob Dylan, her favorite songwriter.

She posted this message of excitement on Instagram yesterday.

Kesha will be singing the heartbreaking song “It Ain’t Me Babe.” Last night, she held a very special rehearsal — one on stage with Ben Folds, during his show with Y Music. And it was absolutely beautiful. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come during the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday!

Kesha was so filled with gratitude that she posted a sweet thank-you to him on Instagram afterwards.

We can’t wait to see her tribute. It’s sure to be an emotional night.
