If you’ve been waiting on pins and needles to find out what happened after Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca’s (Mandy Moore) huge blow-out fight during the season finale of This Is Us, you’re about to get the answer really, really soon. Series creator Dan Fogelman revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the Season 2 premiere of This Is Us will pick up right after the couple’s major argument, the day after Rebecca asked Jack to move out.

Aghhhh, we’re already steeling ourselves for this.

Fogelman added that the season premiere will show Kevin, Kate, and Randall celebrating their 37th birthday — you’ll recall, the series kicked off with their 36th — though not together.

We’ll also get a lot of answers about Jack’s death, including a “big, giant piece of the puzzle” in the season premiere that will “potentially set the internet abuzz.” We have no DOUBT about that.

But that definitely doesn’t mean that we’re going to have everything solved and tied up in a neat bow.

Far from it, because Fogelman added that plenty other mysteries and questions will arise.

*Sigh.* So vague, yet so, so intriguing.

In other This Is Us news, Fogelman announced at TCA that Sylvester Stallone will appear in an episode as a co-star of Kevin’s (Justin Hartley) in Ron Howard’s war movie. Um, can this actually get made?

Reunions, intense drama, and another round of birthday celebrations? We really cannot *wait* for September 26th.
