Tanner Tolbert just shared his thoughts on the "Bachelor in Paradise" allegations
By this point, most Bachelor Nation fans have heard that filming of the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise has been suspended due to allegations of “misconduct” on set. And now, Season 2 castmember Tanner Tolbert has reacted to the news of suspended production in a statement on his Twitter account.
“Us” is of course referring to Tanner and his now wife Jade Roper Tolbert, who met on their season of the show. The pair wed in 2016, and are now expecting their first child — so it definitely makes sense that this development hits close to home.
And while we’re absolutely bummed that we may not get to see one of our favorite shows of summer, we’re also glad that Warner Brothers and the show’s producers are taking any and all allegations extremely seriously. On Sunday, June 11th, Warner Brothers released the following statement to UsMagazine.com:
Chris Harrison also released a statement, saying,
“The safety and care of the cast and crew of our show is of the utmost importance to us. It is with this thought in mind that we made the decision to suspend filming. Out of respect to all involved, there’s only so much I can and will say at this time. Normally with a situation like this I would not say anything until the incident is fully resolved, but with all the rumors and misinformation being put out there I don’t find that to be possible anymore.”
Sad to see the show suspended, but glad this is being addressed. While we don’t yet know the exact nature of the allegations, it sounds like the show is making the right decision to investigate fully.
