"Stranger Things" will air a new Season 2 trailer during the Super Bowl, so non-sports-fans now have a reason to watch
We all know that the best part of the Super Bowl (besides the snacks) are the commercials. Seriously. Sure, there’s impressive feats of strength and skill on display, but let’s be real: Who doesn’t love a clever jingle? And now we’re even more excited with the knowledge that Stranger Things will air a season 2 trailer during the Super Bowl! First, there was the new Handmaid’s Tale Super Bowl trailer, and now this! There are some really great Super Bowl commercials already out, and we can’t wait to watch them all!
We miss you, Stranger Things!
While Netflix has yet to announce an official premiere date for our new favorite show, we do know that it will be set in 1984, one year later from the events of season one. And, of course, all our favorites are scheduled to return.
So what happened to Eleven? And why are the boys dressed like Ghostbusters? (Other than the fact that the Ghostbusters are awesome and, you know, hunt ghosts.)
Are ghosts the new Demogorgon?
We’ll find out! We’re not sure if the latest Netflix trailer will tell us much, but we’re sure it will get us excited, nonetheless! And hey, we’ll count any sightings of our favorite cast of misfits a win, despite the game’s results.
