Despite the fact that it’s definitely on our ~dream destinations~ list, a Stranger Things pop-up bar was served a cease and desist by Netflix. But don’t worry, sports fans — this story isn’t all bad. The pop-up bar was opened in Chicago, and called “The Upside Down,” and overall it sounds suuuuper amazing. But unfortunately, those behind the bar didn’t get permission from Netflix to open it up, so Netflix stepped in to shut them down…but they did it with good humor.

The cease and desist, while legit, was delivered with some solid jokes, and also with an openness that if they want to do something similar in the future, they should ask first.

(So, guys… ask please, because we want to visit.)

The tongue-in-cheek letter from Netflix read:

We’re really sad that the Upside Down bar is set to close, especially because it looks SO awesome…

…but here’s to hoping to see something like this again in the future — with Netflix’s blessing, of course.
