The second season of Netflix’s highly anticipated Stranger Things is rapidly approaching. And if you’re looking for a creative way to relive everything you loved about the first season, then you might want to check out this video game-style recap of the hit show.

Called “Level Up,”  the video recaps Stranger Things Season 1.

But it’s no ordinary recap. Of course it includes the unforgettable action and hilarious moments among the characters. But it’s all, appropriately, set in the style of an old-school, choose-your-own adventure video game. It gets off to the perfect start by flashing its “inventory” of Eggo waffles.

The video goes over some of the season’s highlights — good and bad.

And it replays them all through the lens of a classic video game user. You see Eleven get major points for using her powers to protect her friends. And she gets “sass points” for choosing not to show off her powers when Dustin tries to egg(o) her on. The crew also get major points for using a slingshot to attack the “final boss” (aka the scary monster from The Upside Down).

Not to mention, the video looks back to the ill-fated Barb sitting by the pool on the fateful day she disappears. A choice pops up on the screen for her to either “Stay Here” or “Go Home,” she chooses to stay. And, well, as we all know, that leads to a “Game Over” for the beloved character.

Stranger Things returns to Netflix on October 27th, just in time for Halloween.
