Shonda Rhimes is taking her brilliance to a new home, and you might want to sit down for this, because the news is pretty darn big.

Deep breath: Shonda Rhimes just joined Netflix in a deal that will bring new Shondaland shows into our lives!

After 15 years with ABC Studios, creating hits like Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder (plus, a new law show that’s sure to be a hit), Rhimes is moving over to the streaming giant. Here’s what Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement about the deal:

This switch means that Rhimes will now start creating series for Netflix, which means more content for us — hooray! And since we love Shonda, it’s really a win-win.

But don’t worry — this doesn’t mean all of the current Shondaland shows are going anywhere.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey also released a statement about what you can expect when it comes to TGIT on ABC:

Whew! Thank goodness. We get all of the Shondaland shows we love, PLUS even more. This is the best news.
