It’s been 11 years since Will & Grace left our lives forever — or at least we mourned like it would be forever. NBC recently announced a 10-episode return of Will & Grace, and we’ve been trying to hold ourselves together ever since. Because life just hasn’t felt complete without Will, Grace, Jack, and Karen.

Sean Hayes, also known in some circles as Jack McFarland, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Liveon Wednesday, and he dished on the Will & Grace revival. (Because he clearly knows the way to our hearts.)

Hayes explained to Kimmel how the idea for bringing back the (greatest) sitcom (ever) came about.

“We did this little campaign thing for the election,” Hayes said. “It was the first time we ever got together. And NBC just thought, ‘Wow, this is actually working! Why don’t we do it again?’ And we were all like, ‘Yeah!’ We had a great time together.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDe934lJlqY

Hayes, Debra Messing, Eric McCormack and Megan Mullally will all be returning to reprise their characters in the NBC series that aired from 1998-2006.

So back to TV he’s going, and we seriously couldn’t be more excited for some Just Jack action!

“I thought this was a great opportunity to make all three of those people happy,” he said. “But what’s fun is it’s the same crew and the same director, obviously the same cast, the same writers — everybody is the same. I’m very excited to see everybody.”

Kimmel mentioned that the entire cast still looks incredibly youthful, to which Hayes responded, “Well, that’s very nice. But I say we left looking like the cast of Saved by the Bell and we return looking like the cast of Cocoon.” LOLS
