Peter Krause has just been cast in Ryan Murphy's latest TV show, and this is the best possible thing
Sound the alarms, because we have the most amazing news! Peter Krause is heading back to our TV screens, and this time he’s joining Ryan Murphy’s latest TV show. You read that right, Peter Krause AND Ryan Murphy working on a TV show together. Oh, and did we mention Angela Bassett stars in it as well?
This just keeps getting better and better!
Hopefully you never need to call 911, but Murphy’s new FOX show will probably give you some insight into just what happens when you do. Appropriately titled 9-1-1, the procedural is a drama that will center on the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics, and firefighters and follow them as they respond to emergencies — all while balancing their high-pressure jobs with their own personal problems.
Bassett’s casting was previously announced, and we just found out that the delightful Peter Krause (Parenthood, Six Feet Under, Sports Night) will be joining her.
Exact details about Krause’s role haven’t yet been released, but we’re already excited by the combo of Krause and Bassett alone. Talk about a dream team, right?!
With this show, it sounds like Murphy is keeping busy as usual. He currently also has two other shows coming up. We’re talking more from American Crime Story and American Horror Story. For us crime-lovers, 9-1-1 seems like another great addition to our TV lineup.
The show received a 13-episode straight-to-series order back in May. No word on when it will air, but it’s expected to debut sometime in 2018. So prepare to mark your calendars accordingly, because this sounds like something you won’t want to miss.
