I think it’s safe to say that the 2016 election has been quite the event this year. And while both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have made headlines for very different reasons, it’s the little things that make us chuckle when it comes to the two candidates.
Secretary Clinton recently made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and has us seriously lol-ing at her attempts to read actual Trump quotes with a straight face.
She starts out with, “I think apologizing is a great thing, but you have to be wrong. I will absolutely apologize in the hopefully distant future, if I’m ever wrong,” and jokingly jabs back, saying, “That’s profound!”
The democratic nominee then quotes Trump’s glass ceiling comment:
“I have great respect for women. I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling for on behalf of women more than any one in the construction industry.”
You can tell by her reaction and the audience’s reaction just how they all feel about that comment!
And although Clinton doesn’t say too much about Trump in the segment, she doesn’t really have to because we will always cherish *this* tweet that will live in social media infamy for all of eternity:
