Have y’all ever been like, 9 episodes deep into a series on Netflix and not know how you got there? Like somehow around episode 3 or 4 you just kept watching, in a trance, while the clock ticked away long into the night?

Well, according to some new information and a handy chart released by Netflix, they know EXACTLY when you got hooked on shows like our beloved Stranger Things (RIP Barb) and other shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Making A Murderer.


Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, said, “We’ve always believed there is a universality to great stories. The internet allows us to share these stories with a global audience and what we see from the data is how similar our members watch and respond. The hooked findings give us confidence that there is an appetite for original and unique content all over the world.”

They’ve definitely hit the nail on the head here! The data basically shows that it doesn’t matter what country you’re in, but rather that people from all over the world universally identify with the story lines of television shows, which is pretty cool TBH.

Now only if Season 2 of Stranger Things could come out soon!
