We’d be lying if we said The Magic School Bus wasn’t one of our favorite shows growing up. We spent a lot of our childhoods going on a field trip with Ms. Frizzle and the students of Walkerville School.

And now, this after-school classic is coming back for a new generation — and also for those of us who want to feel super nostalgic.

Netflix just released a new trailer for The Magic School Bus Rides Again, its reboot of the iconic series. In the trailer, Professor Valerie Frizzle — once again voiced by Lily Tomlin — hands the keys to the beloved bus over to her little sister, Ms. Fiona Frizzle, voiced by your Saturday Night Live fave Kate McKinnon. Two Ms. Frizzles!! But that’s not even the best part of the trailer.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is continuing his reign as the most talented man on Earth, taking over for Little Richard, singing “Ride on the Magic School Bus” for the new series.

Umm, can he please be voicing the music and/or history teacher as well?

In the new series, Fiona Frizzle will continue her sister’s legacy of taking her students on literally out-of-this-world adventures as they explore the magic and wonder of the 21st century. According to a press release, the Walkerville students will travel through clouds, the internet, and even into the Sun. Ummm, we’re getting our permission slips signed ASAP.

But just because Fiona is the keeper of keys for the magical school bus doesn’t mean Valerie Frizzle is quite out of the picture. Based on the trailer, it seems we’ll be checking in on the OG queen of the science classroom as she continues on her whirlwind adventures as a professor.

Is it too late to ask for a Hamilton episode? The Magic School Bus Rides Again will magically arrive on Netflix on September 29th.
