Lili Reinhart got on the defensive on Twitter when a fan called Cole Sprouse and the rest of the Riverdale cast, “disgusting and rude.”

The other night, a fan tweeted how she was out in Vancouver and spotted the Riverdale cast. She says she was “kinda drunk” so she approached Sprouse “in a friendly way as if I knew him.” She said that Sprouse was “so rude” that she just walked away. false

The fan was so upset by the perceived snub that she tweeted, “if you’re a celebrity you gotta deal with the consequences, you know you’re signing up for public to talk to you, otherwise just quit.”

Strong words.

As we all know, there are two sides to every story and Reinhart has hers.

“You do not have the right to approach STRANGERS and throw your arms around us like you know us. What you did was not cool and inappropriate,” the Riverdale star tweeted.

As for the fan who says Sprouse was rude when she tried to approach him in a “friendly way,” Reinhart says, “Cole’s response to you was ‘do I know you?’ After you rudely invaded our space and got in our faces.”

While we appreciate Reinhart defending her boyfriend and her costars, the stans of Twitter have taken it too far with actual threats against the miffed fan. false

Only a few people were there that night, so who knows what really went down. Celebrities are entitled to their privacy, but a scorned fan does not deserve the backlash of the internet.
