Laurie Hernandez is no longer just the Team USA gymnast with the big eyes and fabulous showmanship, she is officially an incredible dancer as well. Last night, Laurie performed her second dance for Dancing with the Stars, and she blew us away with her moves. She also blew us away with a giant blast of nostalgia, because her cartoon-themed jive brought us right back to one of our favorite shows from childhood.

Laurie Hernandez and partner Val jived to the theme from Duck Tales, and it was SO awesome.

We all remember Duck Tales, right? It was the cartoon that starred Huey, Dewey and Louie, the trouble making nephews of gazillionaire Scrooge McDuck. We totally loved the cartoon, but for sure one of the best parts of the show was the adorable theme song.

Laurie and Val didn’t just dance to the Duck Tales theme, they fully embraced it.

From the costumes to the props, this was totally an homage to the cartoon that we loved, and the whole performance made us smile. Laurie and Val captured a lot of what we love about the Duck Tales theme, and we were totally nostalgic for Scrooge’s crazy nephews.

Laurie and her backup dancers’ fabulous feathered costumes were totally Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

And Val’s Scrooge McDuck costume was absolutely spot on!

They even fell into a pile of money at the end, which was the PERFECT way to end this themed jive.

Not only is that a fabulous ending to cap off their performance, this actually looks like a LOT of fun.

Scrooge McDuck would have been proud!
