If you’re a fan of I Am Cait, the E! docuseries about Caitlyn Jenner’s life after her transition, we unfortunatley are about to bum you out big time. It looks like the show didn’t get renewed by E! for a third season. Noooo!

Jenner took to social media to spill the news of the show’s cancellation…

… prompting fans to voice their disappointment.

Despite the sad news, I Am Cait definitely broke new ground and opened up an important dialogue about the daily struggles and triumphs of the transgender community.

In perhaps one of the show’s best moments, Jenner’s mother spoke out about accepting her daughter’s transition, which is such an important message to vocalize for families in similar situations.

There is a distinct lack of representation of transgender characters in popular culture, so if anything, hopefully Caitlyn has encouraged creative teams working in television to consider including diverse characters that represent humans of all walks of life.

Despite some of the show’s valid criticisms (usually about the fact that Jenner’s race and privilege don’t make her the best suited to speak for many in the transgender community), Jenner is indisputably an inspiration for living your life as YOU.

Luckily, this won’t be the last we hear of Caitlyn Jenner. She’ll be guest-starring in the next season of Transparent, and making regular appearances on Keeping up with the Kardashians. THANK GOD!
