HBO doesn’t play. At least, not when it comes to their pesky hacker problem. The network just released a sassy response to the hackers who have been releasing HBO data — and it seems they’ve been taking some lessons from Cersei Lannister.

Because seriously, HBO isn’t messing around.

HBO

In the hackers’ most recent cyberattack, they reportedly leaked an episode of Insecure and several episodes of the upcoming Curb Your Enthusiasm season. HBO seems to be getting tired of addressing the issue and bringing more attention to the hackers, and we can’t blame them.

Their latest statement does not hide their annoyance:

“Obviously, no company wants their proprietary information stolen and released on the internet. Transparency with our employees, partners, and the creative talent that works with us has been our focus throughout this incident and will remain our focus as we move forward. This incident has not deterred us from ensuring HBO continues to do what we do best.”

Boom! No games here. Who knows if the hackers will release more data, but HBO is done commenting on every little release — and we can see why.
