We don’t have a Year in the Life Season 2 order (YET), but at least we’re getting a second helping of something else just as awesome: The Gilmore Girls Fan Festival.

Last year, in the midst the hullabaloo and excitement for Gilmore Girls on Netflix, the first ever (and so far, only) Gilmore Girls Festival was held in the IRL inspiration for Stars Hollow, Washington Depot, Connecticut. Now back for round two, the festival will happen again, but with a little change of scenery. This year, it’s happening in Kent, Connecticut, roughly 20 miles away from the OG location.

But don’t worry, it’s still got the quaint, small town, Luke’s Diner feel to it. Then again, that’s literally all of Connecticut.

The festival will once again take place in the Fall, October 20-22nd, 2017. You’re going to want to write this down in your planner right now, because tickets for the festival go on sale 12 p.m. EST on March 1st — and they will go FAST (no word as to whether or not there will be regular and VIP tickets like last year).

As for what’s going to happen at the Second Gilmore Girls Festival, that’s still a big TBD. The festival organizers are busy putting everything together right now (and trying to get as many Gilmore Girls cast members to attend as possible), and as they write on their website: “The 2017 event promises to be another great weekend, we’re using what we learned last year to make it even better for you. And, we’re adding a few things.”

As for lodging, that’s all listed on the site right now, so go ahead and check it out. While there is no Mayflower Inn this time around (😞) there is the ~Club Getaway~ which will house you and your GG-loving friends in a private cabin in the middle of Kent, CT. Hey, if Lorelai Gilmore can rough it, so can you.

More details will be announced in the coming months (whispers: hopefully along with an announcement about Year in the Life Season 2….) so stay tuned for more. In the meantime, start stocking up on coffee.
