If you’re still hurting from the fact that there won’t be a Sex and the City 3, we’ve got some good news.
While we might not actually see more of Carrie Bradshaw anytime soon, Sex and the City creator Darren Star has a new show in the pipeline. A whole new world to explore? Yes, please. And this time, unlike his other hit show Younger, we’re not going back to New York City…We’re going to Paris! Oh, Darren. You do know how to treat a girl.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series is about “a young American girl who goes to Paris for a life-changing experience — and ends up staying.”
We don’t even know this character yet and we already want to be her. The new show will appear on Paramount Network, which is the rebranding of Spike TV. And the network already has high hopes for Darren Star’s next big series. When asked about the show, Paramount Network president Kevin Kay had only good things to say:
We prefer straight to series, thank you. Paramount Network will launch on January 18th with a few shows it has already picked up, like Waco (starring Taylor Kitsch, swoon), Heathers (YES), and American Woman. Could this be our new favorite channel? Things are looking, as Larry David would declare, pretty, pretty good.
