Netlfix’s 13 Reasons Why is coming back for a second season in 2018, but we still don’t have a lot of details on what it will be about. The first season followed Hannah Baker’s life leading up to her suicide, a story told on the 13 cassette tapes she recorded for her friends. Now, new cast member Anne Winters has dished on what to expect on Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why in an interview with Flare, and we can’t WAIT for the new chapter to begin.

Winters has been cast to play Chloé, a cheerleader at Liberty High School. She explained that her character will definitely be involved in a bunch of drama.

In case you’re wondering about that timing, the second season of 13 Reasons Why started filming in June 2017, just a few months after Season 1 had fans hooked after its premiere in March 2017. So Winters was likely already doing prep work on her own season while we were all just being introduced to the characters.

Winters also addressed some of the themes of the next season. Netflix said the show would explore how society raises boys to become men, and how they treat women. It’s going to be all about the “gray areas.” Winters added:

That the writers and directors are open to exploring those gray areas was a draw for Winters. She likes that they were willing to tackle the problems so many people shy away from.

She added in her interview, “What I love about the show is that they’re so real with it, and they’re not playing any games. They’re telling some real stories and these things happen to people. I think if it’s important to show, show it.”

Now all we have to do is wait for a teaser!
