After he picked up the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Limited Series for The Night Manager, Tom Hiddleston shared a touching story about Carrie Fisher while backstage, and it’s perfectly sums up why we loved her.

Speaking backstage in the press room following his win last night, Hiddleston was asked about the time he and Fisher attended a White House correspondents’ dinner together, and he had the greatest story to tell.

Hiddleston then recalled how Fisher asked him to watch over her beloved dog Gary’s favorite toy.

This is SO Carrie Fisher and we LOVE it.

However, this being Carrie and Gary it wasn’t a normal rubber duck. No, Gary Fisher’s favorite toy was, of course, a rubber duck of Princess Leia!

Watch Tom Hiddleston talk about his evening with Carrie Fisher below.

Sadly, Carrie Fisher passed away on December 27th, 2016 aged 60. A memorial service was held last week (January 5th) at her home in Beverly Hills.
