It seems like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter just won’t quit when it comes to gifting us with beautiful surprises. Since its first-iteration opening at Universal Orlando Resort in 2010, the area has expanded from Hogsmeade into both Universal parks with the introduction of Diagon Alley (as well as a Japan version of Hogsmeade), in summer 2014. Universal Orlando has hosted the “A Celebration of Harry Potter” weekend multiple times now, chock full of HP-related events and appearances by some of our favorite stars from the movies. And while it’s currently in a soft opening, next month, Universal Studios Hollywood will host the grand opening of its own version of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

And now, rumor has it Universal Orlando may have something else up their sleeve: A Yule Ball that would take place at the parks. SCREAMING.

According to Orlando Informer, the news comes from the fact that Universal Orlando sent out a recent survey asking for feedback about holiday events visitors would like to see come to fruition – one of which included a separately ticketed Yule Ball and Great Dance Hall Dinner, where “guests wear dress robes and dine/dance at a festive holiday Yule Ball with themed music, dancing, food and beverages.” Yep. Take our money, please.

And though the idea of a Yule Ball is exciting, it’s not all that surprising considering how quickly tickets sold out for the Great Hall Feast held last December at London’s Warner Bros. Studio Tour. We’re still crying a little over that, but the fact that we have another shot to attend an HP-themed event like this – and on U.S. soil! – is getting us giddy again.

And we have questions: How many replicas of Hermione’s dress will we see? Will someone be dressed as McGonagall to show everyone how it’s done in terms of dancing? WILL THE WEIRD SISTERS PERFORM? Molly Weasley’s fave Celestina Warbeck already does at Diagon Alley, so why not?

We can only cross our fingers hard and wish for the Yule Ball to become a reality. We’ll also be dreaming about what the future holds for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Maybe we’ll be able to see inside Ilvermony one day! I wonder how their sorting process works…
