Mr. & Mrs. Grey are *almost* ready to see you now.
Fans of the Fifty Shades trilogy are getting their first taste of the third and final installment, in the shape of the Fifty Shades Freed teaser. The brief trailer packs a tons of angst, action and raw sex appeal into a one-minute mark, and considering it’s just a small indication of what’s to come, we’re expecting an explosive end befitting of the fiery-hot franchise.
Oh, and if that weren’t enough, the 50 Shades folks also decided to grace us with the first full-length glimpse of Anastasia Steele’s wedding dress. Swoon!
Frankly, the trailer cuts to the chase in the first few seconds, as Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan) is heard reciting his vows over scenes of Ana (Dakota Johnson) slipping into her wedding gown, putting on her veil and preparing to make her way to the altar. “I solemnly vow to love you faithfully, forsaking all others. I promise to trust and respect you and to keep you safe for as long as we both shall live,” Grey says in his deepest of voices. Chills!
“All that I have is now yours,” he finishes as he slips a wedding band onto the new Mrs. Grey’s finger. Then to exemplify that point, the trailer cuts to a clip of the newlyweds hopping onto one of their no-doubt many jets.
“You own this?” Ana asks. “We own this,” Christian replies. Because, you know, it’s easy to lose track of all your jets from time to time. We digress.
Things heat up fast in paradise, with the two seemingly jetting off on what is no-doubt a honeymoon fit for the ages. Then, the action starts — there are guns, there’s a very unseemingly sexy spoon being used in the sexiest of BDSM situations. Then cut to scenes of swimming in the ocean, car chases, more BDSM, more guns, and then some potential light kidnapping.
There’s a lot happening in 65 seconds!
Of course, to catch all the action, you’ll want to clear your schedule for Valentine’s Day 2018. And last night’s all new teaser promised a full-length trailer this November, so we’ll have that to look forward to a little later. In the meantime, you can watch the latest teaser for yourselves here:
We’re gonna need a minute.
