The future of TV is here, and it’s coming for your phone. AT&T just announced they’re creating a superhero series that’s going to be available on. . . wait for it. . . Snapchat.

Wait, what?

That’s right: Snapchat. People are getting more and more creative with the app, and big brands are jumping on board. The series, cleverly titled “SnapperHero,” is coming in early 2015 and will consist of 12 episodes released over the course of 4 weeks. All of which—you guessed it—disappear after 24 hours. AT&T says the show will be “influencer-driven” and feature popular faces from Snapchat, YouTube, and Vine, like Anna Akana, Freddie Wong, and Harley Morenstein. It’s fitting with Snapchat’s evolution from the disappearing dirty picture app to the new fun way to tell short stories, and, even more exciting, the show is going to be built out based on both influencer and fan input!

“We want to produce and foster entertainment that engages the connected generation where they live,” said Liz Nixon, AT&T Engagement Marketing Director. And social media isn’t defined by just Facebook and Twitter anymore. There’s more to YouTube than Michelle Phan (but, hey girl, love you), and if you’re unfamiliar with social media stars like Nash Grier or Andrew Bachelor, get to know them—because they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Follow @snapperhero on Twitter, Instagram, and (duh) Snapchat to get in on the fun!
