100 people try the scientific formula for falling in love in the beautiful short, 'Strange Love'
We’ve fallen in love with ‘Strange Love’ by Gia Coppola, Samantha Ressler, and Tracy Antonopoulos. The three talented ladies, whom we adore, rounded up 100 people, gave them 36 increasingly personal questions to answer with a partner, and then had them silently stare into one another’s eyes for 4 minutes. The project was based off of the thoughtfully penned New York Times essay by Mandy Len Catron that went viral last month —the filmmakers posted an open call on Instagram and filmed the entire process to see if following the the rules of the study would lead to true love. The results? An ethereally visceral, dreamy sequence of candid interviews.
