Excitement was high over the weekend as Star Wars fans lined up for the heavily anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens. For diehard fans, this movie felt like something they had been waiting their whole lives for, so you can imagine how they reacted when, at a screening at the Hollywood ArcLight Cinemas on Friday, the projector glitched and the movie they had been so eager to see came to a halt.

It was chaos. According to the Mirror, patrons were screaming “Noooo,” gesturing towards the screen and towards each other as they tried to make sense of what was possibly their worst nightmare.

Luckily, it didn’t last long, but when the problem was “fixed,” it turns out the film returned much later than where they left off. Fans were not pleased, and took to Twitter to express their frustration.
