Given that she released one of our favorite albums of the year, it’s safe to say that we’re pretty obsessed with EVERYTHING Solange Knowles is doing at the moment.

The singer released her third album, the sublime A Seat at the Table, in September, and the collection reached number one on the Billboard 200, marking the singer’s first record to reach the summit.

Dealing with issues of loss, race, feminism, and socio-political themes, Solange has shown how creatively involved she was with the project. Sharing behind the scenes of the the recording process, she showcased how she wrote and recorded the material. What’s more, she even shared videos of the choreography she created for the two visuals released, too.

Tbh, we’ve been OBSESSING over the two videos for “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky” since we saw them. Just check out how beautiful they are.

Well, now Solange has been sharing some outtakes from the videos and they’re absolutely STUNNING.

Uploading the pictures to social media, the star tagged the director Alan Ferguson.

Seriously, these pictures are just so incredible.

We’re loving all the different looks for each scene.

We think, perhaps, this one is our fave.

We love the juxtaposition between the wild and rocky terrain with Sol in a gorgeous red sequined ballgown.

The singer opened up earlier this year about the themes in A Seat at the Table in an interview on her cultural hub, Saint Heron.

In a conversation with her mother and journalist Judnick Mayard, Solange spoke about how embracing themes of race and her truth.

The singer also dedicated the album to her mother and father.

We love seeing these behind the scenes outtakes from Solange’s videos. She’s been so open about this album, and really given fans a chance to peer inside her creative process, something that we’re really grateful for.

Solange’s new album A Seat at the Table is available now.
