Who watched Sister, Sister? The answer is “EVERYONE” — at least as far as I’m concerned. I loved Sister, Sister for obvious reasons — Black girls rock and it was amazing to have such rad role models, the parents were hilarious, and I love a good sibling mix-up story line. Tia and Tamera Mowry, who continue to be the best sisters in real life, were awesome, entertaining, inspirational girls to grow up with. And then there was Roger.

Let’s talk about another love of mine. I live for a television reunions, you guys. I live for television revival rumors, and I follow all my ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s favorites on Instagram to make sure I catch all of the adorable reunion moments. Well, do I have some Sister, Sister news for you — and yes, Roger is involved.

Currently, Tia Mowry is the star of the show Instant Mom on TV Land and recently a few pictures were posted from the set of the former Sister Sister costars Marques Houston (who played Roger) and Mowry. The ’90s masses, myself included, exploded in fanfare. Houston’s Insta-pic even came with this adorable caption: “Visited one of my favorite women in the world.”

Mowry posted this gem:

Though I am well aware that Sister Sister is not real life, the picture brought back so many wonderful sitcom memories. Houston played Roger Evans, the annoying neighbor to the Landry sisters on the show. Roger was not shy about his infatuation with both Tia and Tamera, and much like Jazz on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, was often told to “Go home, Roger!”

Though Roger eventually grew into a super fine, less annoying dude, one of the show’s central jokes was Roger being annoying. Clearly, this is not how anyone feels in real life, and the Mowry sisters love Houston as much as the rest of us.

I know it is insane to jump to the conclusion that Sister, Sister will have a revival just because of some Instagram pictures, however, with all of the Netflix rumors these days, a girl can’t help but dream. Bringing back a show that was such a perfect combination of fashion (those floppy hats!), funny, family values, and TWIN SISTERS is something we will always vote for. Never go home, Roger.
