While to us she’s one heck of an inspiration, Simone Biles has responded to online haters who say that she’s not a good role model to young people, and WTF?!

Biles, of course, won five medals at last year’s Olympic games and, earlier this year, starred in Dancing with the Stars, where she placed fourth (but not before she shared some incredible advice after being told she should smile more).

Considering how she’s only 20 years old, and given that she’s an Olympic medal-winning athlete who has dedicated her life to gymnastics, we’d pretty much say that if you were looking for a role model, then Simone Biles would be it.

But apparently, one person doesn’t agree.

The incident occurred after Biles shared a selfie on Instagram of herself holding a cup with the word “Hawaii” written on it.

“Resting beach face,” she captioned the picture.

While Simone looks super cute in this pic, it appears that one Instagram user wasn’t too happy that the athlete seems to have been on a year-long vacation.

“Seems like u have partied non stop for a year #trash #unfollow #suckyassrolemodel,” they commented under the picture.

While we wouldn’t always necessarily recommend replying to hateful comments on social media, it seems that, understandably, this comment really got to the 20-year-old.

In a tweet, Biles shared a screenshot of her response, and it’s pretty epic.

Tbh, Simone Biles is totally right. Given that she’s been training since she was a child, and after her epic turn at last year’s Olympic games, we think she totally deserves to have some time off. Also, she literally appeared in Dancing with the Stars just this year, which doesn’t sound like the most relaxing experience in the world.

Regardless of the haters, we totally think Simone is not just a role model but one people will look up to for years to come.
