"Game of Thrones'" Ramsay Bolton is in an indie folk band IRL, and we don't know how to feel
Most of us know Iwan Rheon for his both hypnotizing and stomach-churning portrayal of the sadistic Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones. But today we also found out that the man we’ve watched murder and torture and mutilate innocent people also released an album of sweet, relaxing, indie folk music. AND IT’S SO GOOD. We’re very confused right now, TBH.
The 31-year-old Welsh actor reportedly recorded his debut album, Dinard, off-and-on while shooting Season 4 and Season 5 of Thrones. (How he was able to play a raging sociopath by day and record this lovely music by night I’ll never understand.)
In an interview with IndieLondon, Rheon says of his budding music career, “Well, my main profession is acting, and music is what I love doing. It’s kind of nice like that in a way because it means I’m under no real pressure with the music. I have got complete creative control and I can make whatever I want.”
While we are LOVING Dinard, we’re not the only ones who have had to take a moment to wrap our heads around it.
We’re not sure if we’ll ever be able to look at Ramsay Bolton the same again, but we hope Iwan keeps making this amazing music. You can listen to the whole album here.
See you Sunday, Iwan — I mean, Ramsay.
