Just this weekend, we were flipping out over a new Game of Thrones clip featuring a very dead Jon Snow (*sob*). Now, less than two weeks (!!!) before the season six premiere, HBO has released its second trailer and it’s looking like this season will be the most intense yet. (GoT fans know that’s certainly saying something.)

Entertainment Weekly reports that this new trailer was first shown at a “star-packed screening” of the season’s first episode in Hollywood on Sunday night, and it’s pretty darn glorious, if not terrifying. Not only do we see the return of Red Wedding villain Walder Frey, but we’re given some new sure-to-be-classic GoT quotes, such as Cersei’s “Show them what Lannisters are, what we do to our enemies.”

We see Jon Snow, looking quite dead indeed (aaaand we’re crying again).

We see Arya, who went blind last season, being cruelly beaten (why, George R. R. Martin, why?):

We’re not fans, either, of how Daenerys is being treated here:

And as we see Sansa, looking resolute yet forlorn, we think back on what Sophie Turner said about her character in this season. “This season is a really, really big one for Sansa,” Turner told Entertainment Weekly back in January. “It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good. . . [she] can only suffer so much.”

Jorah, in the meantime, is dealing with some issues of his own. . . that greyscale isn’t looking too good.

But even through all the turmoil and approaching winter, Tyrion is still here to be witty and give us new catchphrases.

Season six premieres on Sunday, April 24. In the meantime, we’ll be watching this new “Game of Thrones” trailer on repeat.
