Austin-based band White Denim has a new song on Spotify – but you can only listen to it if it’s raining outside.

As part of a marketing campaign with The North Face, which is launching a new rain jacket called the Apex Flex GTX, White Denim’s new song “No Nee Ta Slode Aln” will only play in areas with rainy weather.

Spotify is using geo-tracking to monitor the weather in various regions of the U.S. to grant access to the track. (So, yes, even if you live outside of the U.S., you’re out of luck regardless of the current weather conditions in your area.)

For those of us living in Southern California, we can’t listen to the song until it rains again – which could take awhile.

If you’re a huge White Denim fan living in a desert climate, 30 seconds of the song is available in this new ad for The North Face.

Otherwise, better get to checking the forecast.
