2016 may have been a bad year for…stuff…but it was a great year for movies. 2016 brought a record-breaking amount of films Certified Fresh by Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer.

Last year, 184 Certified Fresh films were released (along with a handful of films that are awesome but that no one saw). That’s 17.4% out of the 1057 films scored from January 1, 2016 to December 13, 2016. That’s the highest percentage of Certified Fresh films since 2011.

We’ve compiled a list of the 22 movies rated 98% or more. If you’re looking for some veg-out material during the holidays or into the new year, bookmark this list.
