You know what they say: imitation is the finest form of flattery. But Nashville-based artists Louisa Wendorff and Devin Dawson may beg to differ.

This weekend, Wendorff and Dawson got their fill of Internet glory when T-Swift simply tweeted, “OBSESSED,” in response to their gorgeous mashup cover of her 1989 hits, “Style” and “Blank Space.” Appropriately, Wendorff took to her Twitter and asked the age-old question, “WHAT IS LIFE?!?!” Yep, flattery is in full circulation.

Stripped down in all of its harmonious glory, Wendorff and Dawson traded T-Swift’s pop sounds for some warm and folksy feels. Though the songs are a slight departure from the originals, we can assure you, they’re equally as beautiful.

But who are we kidding? Take it from Taylor Swift! You know if she’s endorsing your cover, you’ve got something special. Give the gorgeous mashup a listen below:
