If it feels like the Backstreet Boys have been around for a million years, it’s because, basically, they have. Twenty years is a long stretch for a band! And the guys are showing no signs of slowing down. The quintet recently made dreams come true by performing at the Miss USA pageant, and they’ve got a residency in Las Vegas coming up soon. Oh yeah, and they’re getting back to the recording studio to create new music. That is not a joke! 100% true story.

The boys made this announcement via Brian Littrell’s Instagram account today, and we are currently trying to contain our excitement. As you can see there aren’t too many details included in this post (and we don’t know what FGL stands for, although there is a country music duo called Florida Georgia Line… ), but maybe the new music will be in the form of an ninth album? Whatever it is, it’s due out this August!

This was posted a few days ago on the band’s Instagram, and it’s another nice tease of what’s to come.

Incase you couldn’t tell, that was Nick. Here, let’s get in a little closer.

Oh hey, Kevin posted something too!

Okay, we are really excited for this surprise collaboration, and August can’t come soon enough! In the meantime, here’s a Backstreet Boys throwback to get you in the mood.

Followed by a photo of what they look like now.

Followed by a classic BSB hit to seal the deal.
