We’ve been waiting patiently for Katy Perry’s next music video, and it’s finally here! Perry just released “Rise,” and as always, the video is innovative, and pretty darn inspiring.

Along with a trusty parachute, Perry struggles hard to — well — rise, especially with so many obstacles in her way. You’ll be holding your breath at some points, because a few of the stunts she pulls off are just incredible.

Once again, Perry created an anthem that so many of us can relate to. With lyrics like, “Victory is in my veins; I know it, I know it; And I will not negotiate; I’ll fight it, I’ll fight it; I will transform,” she proves how strong of an individual she is.

While the video is brand new, the song was first heard on July 15th, after it was used to promote the NBC coverage of this year’s Olympics in Rio — and based on the talent and fierce competition that our athletes will be going through, it’s pretty fitting. However, as good as the song is, it might not be on Perry’s next album.

“This is a song that’s been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface,” Perry said in a statement. “I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite.”

No matter what, one thing’s for sure: “Rise” will surely be a big summer hit. Amazing work as always, Katy Perry.
