Since he’s basically one of the most fun (not to mention most musical) hosts on late night TV right now, we’re super stoked to see James Corden take his hosting skills to the next level.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Corden will host the upcoming Grammy Awards and we have no doubt he’ll be spectacular at it.

The comedian and performer has already shown he’s a huge fan of music. He was amazing as the Baker in Into the Woods and his award-winning “Carpool Karaoke” segment has basically redefined interviewing musicians.

Not to mention his heartfelt performance hosting the Tony Awards this past June proved he’s a truly remarkable awards show host.

James is replacing LL Cool J, who hosted the past five seasons. CBS executive Jack Sussman had nothing but wonderful things to say about the former host.

James will bring a different type of hosting energy to the program that everyone is excited to see.

James dominance of all sorts of entertainment platforms has been impressive. He’s set YouTube records and already won Emmys for his incredibly fun show.

We can only imagine the amount of enthusiastic, positive energy he’ll bring to this big musical night. We will definitely be tuning in on February 12th, 2017 to experience all the magic.
