Hodor DJ'd a pool party in Vegas while the rest of us were watching “Game of Thrones”
It’s no surprise to us that Kristian Nairn, who played Hodor on Game of Thrones, is also a DJ. In case you missed the initial freakout that was discovering that the Game of Thrones actor was a low-key DJ IRL, well, he is. Welcome.
Funnily enough, yesterday, while the rest of us were glued to our screens watching the second episode of Season 7, Nairn was DJing a pool party in Vegas. Chill.
Nairn provided the tunes at The Linq hotel and casino and honestly, we love how multifaceted his resume is, like: “I suffered a savage death on Game of Thrones, and now I’m spinning tunes poolside.”
The pool was filled with dragon floats because #GoT. Nairn also got an inflatable Iron Throne. Lol. Well, it’s the thought that counts. We have a hunch that whoever provided the pool decorations had never seen Game of Thrones. “There are dragons on that show, right? Something about a throne? Sure, put it in the pool.”
Honestly, the party looked fun. We’re so down to attend a pool party that Hodor is hosting.
Nairn’s choice of music for his DJ sets is progressive house. According to AXS ticketing, in 2014 he went on a tour called “Rave of Thrones.” Cute. He’s actually a pretty sought-after DJ, and even provided the tunes for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards.
Wonder what Hodor would say about all this?
Word still isn’t out on whether he ditched the party early to stream Sunday night’s episode.
