Lady Gaga’s recent Super Bowl performance was an extraordinary show featuring drones, dancers, flying, and flames. It’s no wonder the National Football League recently announced that Gaga’s was the most-watched Super Bowl performance of all time. We’re so not surprised. While most people likely tuned in for the glitzy production (it seriously was amazing), one aspect of the show was recently revealed to be even more remarkable than the flawless hairstyle transition from up-do to free-flow: the vocals.

A newly released video showcases Lady Gaga’s isolated vocals from the Super Bowl halftime performance, and it’s so good it’ll make you think that the drones and glam weren’t even necessary. (But they definitely didn’t hurt!)

Listen to the fantastic performance from the raw mic-feed for yourself:

Thanks to this video by YouTuber, Arkadiusz Tuszek, we can all rest assured that Lady Gaga is one of the greatest singers of all time *even when she’s surrounded by explosions*

Yes, she still slays her vocals *even when being held sideways and rocked like a baby*

Gaga hits every note perfectly *even when she is dancing her heart out and being the perfect monster she is*

Not only can she breathe while in aerobic squats, but she can sing powerfully too!

Gaga’s vocals are all the more impressive in this time when many pop stars opt for lip-synced performances when they know they’re performing for large audiences in unpredictable settings. That’s totally understandable. Even a weaker vocal track to their regular studio-recorded sound is to be expected during major performances like Gaga, but she brought the exact-same quality of vocals to her live show as she does to her albums, and we love her so much for it. We also might have cried to the isolated vocals of “Million Reasons” because it is so beautiful.

Lady Gaga: making us cry tears of awe *every time*, and we love her for it.
