First, the bad news — the final days of “Piece of Me,” the Las Vegas show that Britney Spears has been performing since 2013, are near. But that doesn’t mean Britney still isn’t giving it her all — especially since fellow musicians have been hiding in the audience. Thanks to a video on Instagram, we’ve learned that musical group Haim knows the “Oops!…I Did It Again” choreography straight from the video, and incorporated it into their own routine. Haim — they’re just like us!
The video is pretty adorable, and it proves just how connected the band of sisters are. Watching the video, you can tell that Este, Alana, and Danielle Haim practiced the dance moves quite a lot when they were growing up. The sisters got their musical start by first forming the cover band Rockinhaim with their family, often playing charity events and local gigs. While they covered classic rock artists like Billy Joel and The Beatles, who knows? Perhaps they threw a Britney Spears song in the mix every once in awhile.
No matter what, it looks like the ladies of Haim had a lot of fun. Posting the video to Instagram, they chose to caption the memorable moment with “drunk moms at a bar mitzvah.”
You might find yourself watching more than once, since it’s simply that good.
The video even impressed people who aren’t that familiar with Haim, with one Instagram user stating, “I think [I’m] actually going to start listening to Haim after this, just to show support.”
Of course, if you haven’t seen the original video in some time (we mean, it was released 17 years ago), here’s a refresher.
Perhaps a good 2018 resolution would be to act like Haim, and learn all of the choreography from our favorite pop music video.
