It feels like we’ve been waiting for Frank Ocean’s new album Boys Don’t Cry for forever (his debut Channel Orange actually dropped in 2012, but never mind). But part of the reason he’s been taking his time with the release may have to do with a separate project he’s got going on: A novel. That’s right, along with a zine and a Calvin Klein spokesman campaign, Ocean’s been working on a substantially bigger literary project.

So, how did the notoriously secret Ocean drop this news? He actually didn’t — a Reddit user with an eye for JavaScript looked through the code of Calvin Klein’s website and noticed a press release embedded within it. The full text of the release, with the tiny relevant part bolded:

So, I guess we’ll be finding out about this book in another year, when the album drops? We kid, because it’s actually pretty cool that he’s been so prolific, and it fits in line with his overall auteur vision. We can’t wait to read and hear Ocean’s new work, whether it’s actually out this month or this year. (Love you, Frank!)
